Featured Camper: Alex!

We love our our campers and theywant to share about camp too. Alex has been a camper at MDC since the summer of 2006. This past year, he was the only camper to attend every School-Year Camp Day (camp days when kids are out of school).

Here is what Alex shared when we interviewed him about Mountain Day Camp (MDC):

1. MDC: What made you and your family decide to choose MDC?
ALEX: after trying out many camps, I thought this one was the most fun.

2. MDC: What do you like about the counselors at MDC?
ALEX: They are fun.

3. MDC: What do you like about the activities at MDC?
ALEX: They are fun.

4. MDC: What makes MDC different than other camps?
ALEX: I like dissecting owl pellets.

5. MDC: What would you tell your friends to convince them to go to MDC?
ALEX: Hi, do you want to go to MDC? Because it is really fun; lunch is one of the best parts.

6. MDC: If you were a counselor for a day, what would you do?
ALEX: I would take them on an overnight trip and eat cheese for dinner.

7. MDC: What is your favorite Gorp ingredient?
ALEX: M&Ms

8. MDC: What is your favorite camp song?
ALEX: Ghost Riders Lament

9. MDC: What is your favorite Camp Clap?
ALEX: The Indiana Jones Clap!

10. MDC: What is something that you have learned about at MDC?
ALEX: How to do lanyards; what the primary root is at.
